We are seeking a detail-oriented professional primarily responsible for verifying documents related to residential mortgage applications, from the initial loan application to issuing instructions to lawyers and notaries. This role involves preparing and processing all mortgage-related transactions and documents, requiring a high level of efficiency and organization. Position Responsibilities: Review mortgage documents to ensure completeness and compliance, and set up and manage new mortgage business, handling related financial transactions. Utilize strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to address issues, influence decisions, and ensure accountability and responsiveness to meet or exceed expectations. Foster strong collaborative relationships with internal departments by delivering excellent customer service and supporting the team in meeting urgent deadlines and managing increased workloads. Identify and propose opportunities for improvement and efficiencies, assist with their implementation, and ensure that escalated complaints consider the customer experience. Follow bank policies and standards for the required information, documentation, and processes involved in discharging a mortgage. Required Qualifications: Proficiency in MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Previous experience in the banking sector. Ability to understand and accurately interpret legal mortgage documents. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrates excellent customer service skills with a strong ability to effectively engage and support clients. Possesses strong interpersonal skills that enhance communication and collaboration, contributing positively to team dynamics. Proven organizational and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in work. Ability to thrive in high-volume, fast-paced settings while maintaining quality and composure, coupled with a willingness to work flexible hours during peak seasons. Referenced Salary Location CAN, British Columbia - Full Time Remote Working Arrangement Remote Salary range is expected to be between $48,450.00 CAD - $80,750.00 CAD Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
