We are looking for an experienced Business Development Representative, Payer to join our Business Development team. This role would be responsible for developing and executing targeted outreach campaigns to generate qualified opportunities and support broader sales objectives. We are looking for someone who has experience driving top-of-funnel growth to support payer partnership initiatives and wants to bring their talents into a “for purpose” space. This is a remote position with the potential of 5-10% travel requirement. What You’ll Do Pipeline Development Drive lead generation efforts to support overall sales objectives. Develop and execute inbound and outbound prospecting strategies targeting health plans and regional payers. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified payer partnership opportunities. Outbound Outreach & Engagement Initiate and lead targeted outreach to prospective clients through personalized email campaigns, strategic phone calls, and effective social selling techniques. Conduct in-depth research to identify and analyze the unique needs and challenges of prospective payers, market trends, competitive landscapes, and stakeholder structures to inform outreach strategies and engagement plans. Sales Facilitation & Deal Management Facilitate discovery meetings between prospective payer partners and internal stakeholders. Maintain accountability for closing smaller deals in addition to supporting broader sales initiatives. Relationship Management & Account Support Partner closely across the Payer organization to maintain strong payer engagement and identify opportunities for account expansion or deeper collaboration. Assist in preparing materials, tracking engagement activity, and coordinating next steps for payer-facing meetings and initiatives. Performance & Results Consistently surpass pipeline targets and quotas through proactive strategies and a focus on results-driven performance. Perform other related duties as assigned. About You 2+ years of experience working with CRMs required. 3+ years of experience within healthcare, payers, or behavioral health. A strong interest in healthcare partnerships, sales, or business development. Tech savvy and comfortable learning new systems. Self-motivated and proactive with a strong commitment to personal and professional development. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport and gain stakeholder support. Collaborative team player who thrives in a mission-driven environment. Goal-oriented and driven to exceed expectations and contribute to team success. Creative thinker with the ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Bonus Points You have experience with ZoomInfo, Salesforce, Outreach, HubSpot, and/or Mailchimp You’re passionate about sales and building something impactful from the ground up

Compensation

At Talkspace, we believe that pay transparency during the interview process is a critical part of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our salary bands are based on internal and external compensation benchmarks, which we regularly evaluate to ensure we pay competitively. The base salary range for this role is between $67,000 and $90,000. Within the salary bands, leveling corresponds to each candidate’s relevant experience, skills as assessed during the interview process, education, and applicable certifications. Why Talkspace?
