Partner with the best As a Software Engineer, you'll help to build Akamai's Zero Trust platform into a worldwide leader. You'll be crucial to the development of best-in-class security features. Leveraging your knowledge in Networking/multi-cloud/distributed environments, you'll make a global impact on Enterprises/applications, users and their workloads. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for: Building & enhance products/services for Akamai Edge and VM based products that gets deployed within Enterprise perimeter Taking ownership for technical and product innovation, implementing proof of concepts, analyzing systems, and proposing solutions Collaborating with software engineering teams in an Agile environment on code review, design process and product development Working closely with product management to enhance new releases Coordinating deployment strategy and system changes, participating in timeline planning and release schedules Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have experience in software development and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or it's equivalent Have experience in coding with Python on Linux Have knowledge about Golang & C/C++ Have basic knowledge on computer networks including TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, DNS Be comfortable with working in a Linux/Unix environment About us At Akamai, we make life better for billions of people, trillions of times a day.
