Summary The Field Service Technician will provide direction and assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives. In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning. Role will be responsible for supporting the R391 (C130) Composite Propeller System and related components at a customer site.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: Hands on repair and maintenance of Composite Propeller System and related components Provide general technical direction and assistance to the customer in the operation, maintenance, repair and installation of GE products Provide on-site interpretation of data and technical instruction Provide Project Engineering, Program Management and Field Service management with complete and prompt information regarding status of programs, customer problems, failures, trends, and climate Provide communication to Product Support and Field Service regarding all program activities and problems through regular, timely reports Assist the team in scheduling maintenance and workload Assist in ensuring parts meet established schedules Make recommendations on findings Review effectiveness of maintenance actions in order to identify training needs Anticipate requirements beyond those that immediately affect the program and assist in implementing actions to satisfy those requirements Perform intermediate and depot level maintenance Assist in ensuring tools meet required calibration schedules General housekeeping and adhering to shop requirements Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (Or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of aviation experience performing extensive repairs as well as maintenance and repair work on aircraft or engines/propeller systems) Ability to utilize detailed manuals, drawings, works instructions and other documentation Desired Qualifications & Experience: Strong oral and written communication skills in English Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Proven analytical and continuous improvement mindset Ability to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally Ability to travel internationally if required Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: No #LI-Remote - This is a remote position Apply To This Job
