Number of Openings: 1 Are you an accounting professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for financial accuracy? We’re looking for a Home-Based Accountant to join our DCX team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing accounting and financial duties, preparing financial reports, managing reconciliations, supporting clients and stakeholders, and ensuring the accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness of all accounting processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a deadline-driven environment, enjoys working with financial data, and takes pride in delivering accurate reporting and exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders. REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES Highly Organized & Deadline-Driven: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and consistently meet strict deadlines. Detail-Oriented & Analytical: Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical abilities for financial reporting, reconciliations, and account analysis. Effective Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to professionally interact with clients, vendors, tenants, and internal teams. Problem-Solver: Proactive and resourceful when researching discrepancies, resolving issues, and supporting business operations. Accounting Knowledge & Compliance Focused: Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, procedures, and financial reporting requirements. WHAT YOU WILL DO Prepare and review various accounting reports such as revenue, expense, and variance reports, delivering monthly financial packages to Owners and Third-Party Management by the 15th of every month. Review, post, and prepare journal entries, including period-end accruals; analyze and prepare consolidation entries as needed. Oversee the reconciliation of various bank accounts. Process outgoing check batches: pull invoices and match them to checks, scan and save each batch to the appropriate building folder, and prepare envelopes with postage for mailing. Retrieve checks from front desks daily, confirm they are logged properly, endorse without obscuring any written information, and deposit electronically. Handle lease administration, including abstracting leases, processing leases from execution through close-out, and managing security deposits. Respond to client, vendor, and tenant inquiries; conduct research on more difficult matters. Conduct financial analysis, including revenue forecasting, and maintain confidential records. Perform other related accounting and administrative duties as assigned. WHAT WE LOOK FOR Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent education and experience is preferred. Experience: 2-3 years of related accounting experience and/or training is required. Commercial real estate accounting experience is preferred. Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills. Working schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours. Technical Skills: Proficiency in most Microsoft Office Applications, databases, and accounting software. Industry Specific Software/Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, primarily Excel, Word & Outlook, and Adobe programs. Strong familiarity with accounting software is a must. Hands-on experience with commercial real estate accounting software (preferably Yardi Voyager).
