The Digital Solutions Intern will support the Global Engineering organization in developing, improving and/or implementing digital technologies, data solutions, and automation initiatives that enhance engineering efficiency, project execution and engineering competitiveness. This internship provides exposure to global engineering operations and digital transformation initiatives across capital projects and engineering functions. The intern will work closely with project and discipline engineering, project management, and digital teams to support efficient solutions and continuous improvement efforts. The ideal candidate is a motivated and technology-oriented student with strong analytical skills, programming capabilities, and an interest in engineering digitalization. Job Requirements (Principal Responsibilities) · Support development and/or enhancement of digital applications and/or tools for Global Engineering. · Assist in creating dashboards, reports, databases, and automation workflows to improve engineering processes. · Collaborate with engineering and project teams to identify opportunities for digitalization and process optimization. · Support data collection, validation, analysis, and visualization activities. · Participate in software testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and deployment activities. · Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, reliability, and competitiveness. · Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and training materials as required. · Participate in project meetings, digital strategy discussions, and engineering reviews. · Collaborate effectively with global and cross-functional teams. Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors) · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills · Curiosity and passion for technology and innovation · Effective verbal and written communication skills · Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams Education/Experience · Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering and/or Information systems · Previous internship, academic project, or hands-on experience with programming or digital tools is a plus · Exposure or experience in some of the followings are is preferred: o Programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, SQL, or similar o Power BI, Tableau, or data visualization tools o Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) o Database development and management · Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team environment.
