  • Lead, mentor, and scale the engineering team.
  • Set the technical vision and oversee system architecture, design, and implementation of frontend, backend and infrastructure systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product team, research team, and design team to deliver scalable and reliable systems.
  • Attend key customer meetings.
  • Stay close to the codebase – actively participate in architecture discussions, conduct design and code reviews, and contribute code when appropriate.
  • Foster a high-performance engineering culture grounded in ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive hiring, onboarding, and career development for engineers across the team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in engineering management or a comparable occupation.
  • Proven experience leading and scaling frontend, backend and infrastructure engineering teams, ideally in fast-paced startup or high-growth environments.
  • Strong systems design skills with hands-on experience building distributed systems, cloud-native infrastructure, or performance-critical backend systems.
  • Technical expertise in at least 2 of the following backend programming languages (Go, C++, Python, Rust).
  • Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with a track record of growing high-performing teams.
  • A builder mindset: pragmatic, low-ego, and deeply collaborative.
  • Experience working on developer tools, infrastructure platforms, or AI/ML systems.
