ABA Paraprofessionals (RBT) - New Jersey
About the position Licensed Behavior Analyst Professional Services (LBAPS) is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician (BT) to provide ABA services to a child in Matawan, NJ. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a lasting difference in the lives of individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one ABA therapy services
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
- Teach communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily living skills
- Collect data and document session progress
- Collaborate with caregivers and the clinical team
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience working with children preferred
- RBT Certification preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and dependable
- Ability to pass required background screenings
