Catering Event Coordinator
Our client is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Catering Event Coordinator to manage event logistics and client communications for their growing catering business, based remotely but serving clients across various regions. This role is ideal for an individual who excels at detailed planning, proactive problem-solving, and ensuring a seamless event experience from beginning to end. The coordinator will act as the primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through the planning process and ensuring all operational aspects are meticulously handled. Key responsibilities include: managing event inquiries and providing clients with timely, accurate information regarding services and packages; coordinating all event details with clients, including menu selection, dietary accommodations, timelines, and venue logistics; liaising with the culinary and operations teams to ensure successful preparation and execution of events; creating detailed event resumes and timelines for internal teams and external partners; confirming all necessary rentals, staffing, and equipment are secured for each event; proactively identifying and resolving any potential issues or conflicts that may arise during the planning or execution phases; ensuring clear and consistent communication channels are maintained with clients and internal stakeholders; managing event documentation and client records; and contributing to the overall client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and flawless event coordination. This position is fully remote, requiring strong self-management and excellent virtual communication skills. Qualifications: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in event planning, coordination, or catering operations. Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and expectations. Strong organizational skills and an exceptional eye for detail. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in event management software, CRM systems, and standard office productivity suites. Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Must possess a proactive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Requires a reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office space.
