Jr. Technical Business Analyst - GIS
Seneca Resources Company, LLC is a staffing and consulting firm that partners with Fortune 500 companies and government organizations. They are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Technical Business Analyst to support enterprise GIS and digital transformation initiatives within a large utility environment.
Responsibilities
- Support enterprise GIS and digital transformation initiatives within a large utility environment
- Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to support operational improvements, enterprise mapping systems, workflow modernization, and technology implementation efforts
Skills
- Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in: Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Engineering, or related technical field
- Strong internship, co-op, or professional experience supporting enterprise technology or utility-related projects
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and self-management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Experience with: Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Figma
- Ability to document business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional business and technical teams
- Experience with: Azure DevOps, SQL, Python, Oracle databases, ArcGIS, Schneider Electric ArcFM, Workflow/process mapping, QA/UAT coordination, Power BI or reporting tools
- Exposure to enterprise GIS, mapping systems, or utility technology platforms
- Experience supporting digital transformation, operational improvement, or enterprise modernization initiatives
- Ability to interpret, modify, and execute scripts and SQL queries
