Responsibilities

  • Drafting correspondence
  • Editing and filing pleadings with State and Federal courts
  • Scheduling depositions
  • File maintenance
  • Travel arrangements
  • Research
  • Expense reports
  • Time entry
  • Maintaining attorney calendars

Skills

  • Minimum of 1-4+ years of experience
  • Familiarity with general litigation, labor & employment and medical malpractice fields of Law
  • Strong understanding of State and Federal court rules and procedures
  • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Experience with formatting of briefs and generating Table of Contents and Table of Authorities in native Word
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as with the team
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Experience with IManage and Court Alert
