The Buckeye Ranch is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Human Resources department. This role is responsible for supporting accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with regulations, ensuring the precise calculation and distribution of wages, taxes, deductions, and benefits, while maintaining payroll records and resolving inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Ensuring the precise calculation and distribution of wages, taxes, deductions, and benefits
  • Maintaining comprehensive payroll records and resolving payroll-related inquiries
  • Collaborating closely with Human Resources and Finance to support audits and reporting requirements

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 1 year of payroll experience
  • Associates degree in a related field with 2 years of payroll experience
  • Advanced degree in a non-related field with 3+ years of payroll experience
  • High School Diploma with 6+ years of payroll experience
  • Proven computer skills using a payroll/HRIS system
  • Active driver's license
