Education Support Coordinator
Westat is a leader in research and data analysis, seeking a motivated individual for the role of Education Support Coordinator. This part-time position involves supporting a federally funded technical assistance center for state education agencies, focusing on improving workflow and agency operations.
Responsibilities
- Create an updated and streamlined process for the office to use going forward related to correspondence requested and signed by the Commissioner
- Organize and standardize signed correspondence to align to new process
- Create written process documentation and materials to support TEA staff adoption of new processes
- Propose internal communications approach to support TEA staff adoption
Skills
- High School diploma
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (e.g., Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel)
- Undergraduate level coursework in education, public policy, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive or official documents with discretion and professionalism
- Experience with cataloging, filing, or inventory processes
- Professional experience related to education, public affairs, or civic leadership
- Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar online project management tools
