[Remote] Sales Development Representative

As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be the driving force behind our pipeline, connecting K-12 educators and districts with the tools that transform student outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Drive outbound campaigns and engage prospective customers via email and phone
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the Field Sales team
- Promote and follow up on events and marketing campaigns
- Conduct virtual product demonstrations and support trial conversions
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and contribute to campaign reporting
- Stay informed on Edmentum’s offerings and the evolving K–12 landscape
Skills
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Results-driven mindset with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
- Experience or strong foundational skills in consultative, solution-based selling
- Familiarity with Salesforce or a comparable CRM
- Comfortable using virtual communication tools such as Zoom
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to craft clear, engaging emails and presentations
- Fast learner who can absorb complex product and program details quickly
- Ability to articulate instructional or technical concepts with clarity
- Self-starter who manages multiple priorities well
- Strong time management skills
- Collaborative by nature with a track record of building productive cross-functional relationships
- Coachability and growth-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory as business needs require
- Willingness to take on evolving responsibilities based on business needs
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales, business, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in sales development, inside sales, or a customer-facing role
- Experience in edtech or the K-12 space
