This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about short-form video content, podcast editing, and has a good ear for sound, style, and pacing.What You’ll Do:Editat least 2 long-form videos per month(simple edits, typically podcast-style)Create2 teaser reelsfrom each long-form videoProduce approximately15 other short-form reels per monthAddcaptions/subtitleswith correct grammar and spellingEnhance audio and applybasic sound effectsCreatesimple motion graphicsto support the contentWork withunscripted, freeform content—no provided scripts, just natural riffingUnderstand and shape the message from conversational contentCollaborate asynchronously, with at least2 hours of overlap with Canadian working hoursRequirementsProven experience invideo editingfor social media, YouTube, or podcastsProficiency with editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)Comfortable working with unscripted footage ("riffing" style)Strong attention to detail, especially incaptioning and soundExperience withbasic motion graphics(e.g. animated text, transitions)Able to work independently and manage weekly output with minimal directionReliable communication and time managementBenefitsCompetitive salary in CADAbility to work remotely.Significant room for growth over time#J-18808-Ljbffr Apply To This Job
