On-Call Political Survey Representative

The primary responsibility of the position is to make calls to conduct political surveys over the phone. You should be articulate, conversational, have good typing/keyboard skills and comfortable with fast-paced work. No experience is necessary, See technical requirements below: Pay: W2 $11.00 per hour This is an on-call position — there are no set or guaranteed hours. It is best suited for those seeking supplemental income. Scheduling is based on client needs, and is both reliability- and performance-driven. Technical Requirements:
- MacBook or Chromebook or a Windows PC with Windows 10 or higher (no tablets)
- Laptops are okay, but a mouse is required
- USB headset with noise-canceling microphone required (no Bluetooth or 3.5mm jack)
- Google Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari installed as a browser
- High-Speed Internet ( 10 Mbps download /10 Mbps upload)
- Recommended hardwired into the internet via ethernet cable for faster speeds
- Webcam (At times on camera video meetings will be mandatory)
- Processor: semi-recent multi-core processors; Intel i3 6300 / AMD R5 1600 recommended
- RAM: 4+ Gb recommended
Special Requirements:
- Must have a quiet space free of background noise while working
- Clear, easily understood verbal communication is an essential function of this phone-based role.
- Strong reading skills with the ability to read scripts accurately and consistently.
