Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed investigations of eligibility discrepancies between the enrollment package records and the adjudication system.
  • Access, review, and correct records in multiple internal databases to maintain data integrity.
  • Manage shared mailboxes and work queues, responding promptly to inquiries from various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify, document, and resolve errors identified in reports generated from different system modules.
  • Reconcile eligibility data across disparate systems, ensuring consistency and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain meticulous audit trails for all changes made, supporting both internal reviews and external audits.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including claims, provider services, IT, and compliance—to develop sustainable solutions for recurring data issues.
  • Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements that reduce manual effort and increase accuracy.
  • Provide clear, concise communication to stakeholders regarding the status of investigations and resolutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, record review, or a related field, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation), Word, Outlook, and Access.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non‑technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities, including the capacity to investigate root causes and propose actionable solutions.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy in a high‑volume environment.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while staying aligned with team goals and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in health‑insurance eligibility verification, claims adjudication, or member enrollment processes.
