Role Overview – Area Director (Remote Data Entry Team Lead)

As an Area Director, you will be the strategic and operational hub for a group of 50‑100 arenaflex Partners working within a virtual fulfillment environment. Your mission is to ensure that every customer order is processed, sorted, and shipped on time, meeting the high standards of speed, safety, and quality that define arenaflex. You will coach, motivate, and develop your team, while collaborating with senior leadership to drive continuous improvement across all fulfillment stages – from the first mile to the last mile.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development: Mentor, coach, and grow a team of 50‑100 arenaflex Partners, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and high performance.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the end‑to‑end data entry workflow, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with arenaflex’s standard operating procedures.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA standards and arenaflex safety protocols, conducting regular audits and corrective actions to maintain a hazard‑free environment.
  • Performance Metrics: Set, track, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, on‑time shipment, and productivity rates.
  • Process Improvement: Identify bottlene‑points, propose data‑driven solutions, and implement best‑practice initiatives that enhance speed and reduce errors.
  • Quality Assurance: Partner with the Quality Assurance team to develop and maintain rigorous quality control standards for data entry and order fulfillment.
  • Communication Hub: Serve as the primary information conduit for your team, delivering clear instructions, updates, and feedback in real time.
  • Shift Management: Coordinate flexible shift schedules, including evenings, weekends, and peak‑season periods, to align with business demand.
  • Physical Requirements (Remote Simulation): Demonstrate the ability to stand, walk, lift up to 49 lb, and perform repetitive motions as part of virtual training simulations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) completed between May 2022 and August 2024, in fields such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Proven experience in leading teams within fast‑paced, data‑intensive environments (e.g., warehouse, logistics, or e‑commerce operations).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse workforce.
  • Demonstrated analytical mindset – comfortable diving deep into data to uncover actionable insights.
  • Track record of taking ownership, meeting deadlines, and delivering measurable results.
  • Willingness to work flexible shift patterns, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as operational needs dictate.

  • Experience with fulfillment technology platforms, warehouse management systems (WMS), or enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.
  • Certification in safety management (e.g., OSHA 10‑hour) or related compliance training.
