Job Overview As a Data Entry Support Specialist - GIS, you'll be responsible for managing the Bureau of Parks & Conservation's GIS, producing maps, and collaborating with Tennessee State Parks staff and various divisions to drive data-driven decisions. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Bureau of Parks & Conservation's GIS, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data
- Produce high-quality maps and visualizations using Esri software, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
- Collaborate with Tennessee State Parks staff and various divisions to drive data-driven decisions
- Contribute to innovative GIS projects, leveraging your expertise in geospatial analysis and cartographic design
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in GIS and geospatial analysis Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with Esri software, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
- Strong cartographic design and geospatial analysis skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

- Familiarity with GIS data formats and spatial analysis techniques Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Earth Science, or related field with 2 years of relevant experience required
- Equivalent experience may substitute education
- Proven track record of success in GIS and geospatial analysis
