Transform Cyber Defense Through Intelligence at arenaflex

The cyber threat landscape evolves at a breathtaking pace, and organizations across every industry depend on sharp, actionable intelligence to stay one step ahead of sophisticated adversaries. At arenaflex, we believe that the most powerful defense begins with deep understanding — understanding the actors, their motivations, their tools, and the patterns that reveal their next move. We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Analyst to join our expanding team of elite security professionals. This is a client-facing, on-site opportunity based in Virginia, USA, offering $24/hour for a full-time, 8-hour workday, designed for individuals who thrive at the intersection of investigative research, strategic communication, and operational impact.

If you have a passion for dissecting adversarial campaigns, translating raw telemetry into executive-ready briefings, and guiding organizations toward stronger security postures, this role at arenaflex is built for you.

About arenaflex and the Mission Ahead

arenaflex has built a strong reputation as a recognized leader in dynamic cyber defense, threat intelligence, and incident response services. By scaling decades of front-line intelligence expertise, arenaflex helps organizations gain confidence in their ability to prepare for, defend against, and respond to cyber threats. Now operating as a vital extension of arenaflex Cloud, our team continues to push boundaries in proactive security — going beyond reactive detection to deliver intelligence that shapes strategy, informs decisions, and drives decisive action.

In this role, you will serve as a critical conduit between arenaflex’s vast network of cybersecurity specialists, threat intelligence researchers, and information operations professionals, and the clients we proudly serve. Your work will directly influence how enterprises understand, anticipate, and neutralize the most pressing threats facing their environments.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Analyst at arenaflex, your day-to-day work will blend deep research, analytical writing, stakeholder engagement, and thought leadership. Core responsibilities include:

  • Threat Activity Mapping: Connect disparate intelligence sources to develop a comprehensive understanding of tracked threat activity, including adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
  • Multi-Tier Research and Analysis: Perform strategic, operational, and tactical research and analysis of hostile cyber threats and threat actor groups, producing findings that inform both long-term defense strategy and immediate response actions.
  • Emerging Threat Evaluation: Continuously assess current and emerging tools, technologies, and best practices for tracking advanced threats, evaluating the motivations, industry targeting patterns, and behavioral trends of attackers.
  • Executive Briefings and Reporting: Prepare and deliver polished briefings, written reports, and presentations tailored to client executives, security operations teams, and individual investigators.
  • Strategic and Tactical Communication: Present strategic and operational intelligence about threat groups, the methods they employ, and the motivations driving their activity — translating complex findings into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences alike.
  • Stakeholder Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through threat landscape shifts and helping them prioritize defensive investments based on intelligence findings.
  • Mentorship and Team Enablement: Act as a resource and mentor to newer CTI team members, helping them grow their analytical skills, tradecraft, and confidence.

Minimum Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must bring the following to the table:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Digital Threat Intelligence role within a client-facing environment.
  • Direct experience applying CTI techniques and applications in at least one functional domain: Identify, Protect, Respond, or Recover.
  • Demonstrated success in stakeholder management, including leading engagements, presenting findings, and reporting to diverse audiences — including executive leadership.
  • An active US Government Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates who stand out will also demonstrate many of the following:

  • Hands-on experience using, handling, and analyzing strategic and technical CTI within operational environments, with a focus on monitoring, detection, and response enablement.
  • A solid understanding of CTI frameworks and application concepts, paired with a passion for advising and mentoring newer team members.
  • The ability to synthesize raw intelligence from sensors, incident response engagements, and other sources into cohesive reports and briefings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the proven ability to convey complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A knack for taking ambiguous, complex problems, building structured methodologies, and influencing stakeholders toward sound decisions.
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset with the ability to thrive in high-tempo, continuously evolving environments.

Skills and Competencies for Success

Beyond formal qualifications, the ideal arenaflex Senior Analyst will bring a balance of analytical rigor, curiosity, and interpersonal skill. Success in this role requires a sharp eye for detail, intellectual honesty, the discipline to validate sources, and the creativity to connect dots others might miss. You should be comfortable juggling multiple client engagements, prioritizing under pressure, and producing high-quality deliverables on tight timelines. Equally important is a growth-oriented attitude — the cyber landscape never stops evolving, and neither do we.
