Position Overview

As a Senior Data Analyst within the Subscriber Operations capability, you will be a key contributor to the measurement of subscriber cohorts across the arenaflex streaming portfolio. Your work will directly influence how we understand, communicate with, and serve our subscribers on platforms spanning general entertainment, sports, and international content. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic business thinking, making it ideal for a data professional who wants to see the tangible results of their analytical efforts.

You will partner with upstream messaging teams to ensure the accurate delivery of legally required subscriber communications, including price increase notifications, subscription offers, and new data collection initiatives. Additionally, you will play a critical role in identifying subscribers impacted by operational incidents requiring legal and customer-focused remediation, ensuring integrity across subscriber cohorts and facilitating timely refunds when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage intake and meticulously document data requirements associated with subscriber messaging initiatives, including price adjustments, promotional offers, new data collection programs, and incident remediation efforts that ensure affected customers receive appropriate refunds.
• Design and develop complex queries based on intricate business logic—often legally mandated—to determine precise subscriber cohorts eligible for specific communications or remediation actions.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and deliver concise, actionable updates on progress, blockers, and outcomes to stakeholders across the organization.
• Build deep subject matter expertise around subscriber cohorts, the underlying technical infrastructure, and the data systems that power subscriber insights at arenaflex.
• Lead end-to-end project planning, manage timelines, and oversee cross-functional delivery to ensure readiness for major business events and product launches.
• Foster alignment across Data, Business Operations, and Finance teams by developing reliable communication frameworks and operational playbooks that scale.
• Collaborate closely with Data Product and Data Quality Engineering teams to design robust reporting solutions that proactively minimize data incidents and enhance data reliability.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve data quality, automate repetitive processes, and elevate the analytical maturity of the subscriber operations function.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience writing SQL, particularly within ETL processing pipelines and large-scale data environments.
• At least 2 years of analytics experience with a demonstrated track record of generating business-relevant insights from complex datasets.
• Proven ability to communicate technical and analytical concepts effectively to a wide range of audiences, including non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Hands-on experience with Python, R, or other statistical programming languages for data analysis and modeling.
• Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Chartio, or comparable platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling presentations and tell stories with data.
