Position Overview – Senior Customer Success Manager (Remote)

As a Senior Customer Success Manager at arenaflex, you will be the trusted advisor for our most strategic client relationships. You will own the end‑to‑end client journey, ensuring that the arenaflex platform drives high‑value business outcomes, maximizes gross profit margins, and deepens long‑term partnerships. This role blends strategic consulting, operational excellence, and people leadership to position arenaflex as an indispensable business partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Ownership: Serve as the primary point of contact for Vendor Managers and cultivate secondary relationships with Director‑level client stakeholders.
  • Strategic Advisory: Demonstrate how the arenaflex platform creates superior virtual solutions that translate into tangible business results for clients.
  • Performance & Compliance Management: Monitor vendor compliance with contractual performance expectations, ensuring all service partners meet agreed‑upon standards.
  • Financial Stewardship: Fully understand contract financial targets, anticipate shortfalls, and conduct root‑cause analyses to keep gross profit margins on track.
  • Action Planning & Reporting: Develop and maintain a detailed Monthly Action Plan; conduct daily scorecard reviews; lead weekly performance reviews and synthesize findings for monthly and quarterly business reviews.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Build constructive vendor relationships, resolve exceptions, and enforce controls, exception reporting, and regular audits.
  • Statement of Work (SOW) Development: Author vendor SOWs, including service‑level exhibits, to clearly define expectations and deliverables.
  • Data‑Driven Analysis: Perform financial and qualitative analyses, focusing on quality, timeliness, and operational efficiency.
  • Compliance & Quality Leadership: Drive compliance initiatives, quality management programs, and continuous improvement cycles.
  • People Development: Mentor and supervise Customer Success Managers, fostering a high‑performance culture.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Business Analytics, Learning, and Business Development teams to align forecasting, SLA setting, and program innovation.
  • Special Projects: Lead or contribute to strategic initiatives assigned by senior leadership (VP, VPGM, Director of Customer Success).

Interdependencies & Collaboration

  • Ensure vendor resources meet qualification and performance standards required for contractual success.
  • Coordinate with Learning to guarantee that training initiatives deliver the intended business outcomes.
  • Validate that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are accurately defined, monitored, and met.
  • Optimize forecasting processes to benefit both the client and arenaflex.
  • Maintain real‑time levers such as Urgent Service and Convenience Leave requests to meet dynamic client needs.
  • Review vendor metrics and rankings, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Business Analytics to prepare data‑rich presentations for client meetings.

Growth & Impact Opportunities

  • Partner with the Business Development team to uncover new revenue streams, program extensions, and innovative value propositions.
  • Contribute to the design of next‑generation client programs, influencing product roadmap and service offerings.
  • Lead cross‑functional initiatives that shape arenaflex’s market positioning and competitive advantage.
  • Expand your leadership footprint by taking on additional mentorship, coaching, and strategic planning responsibilities.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of three years of exempt‑level managerial experience overseeing client relationships in a BPO or remote‑service environment.
  • Proven track record in BPO, sales, or account management with a strong operational focus.
  • Deep expertise in contract negotiation, vendor management, and SLA enforcement.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and trend identification—Excel (2007 or later) expertise is a must.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to thrive independently in a fast‑paced, remote‑first setting while maintaining a 24/7 client engagement mindset.
  • Professionalism, confidentiality, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client or partner engagements.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with large‑scale virtual contact center platforms and gig‑economy workforce models.
  • Background in financial modeling, profit‑and‑loss management, and margin optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams, including coaching, performance reviews, and career path planning.
  • Familiarity with cloud‑based SaaS solutions, CRM systems, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) or related disciplines.
  • Multilingual capabilities or experience working with international client bases.
