As the Senior Director – Global Head of Adversarial Abuse & Analytics, you will lead a high‑impact, cross‑functional organization that tackles the most sophisticated forms of abuse on the platform—ranging from account takeovers and spam to coordinated misinformation campaigns. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute a multi‑year strategy for adversarial abuse detection, mitigation, and analytics across all product lines.
• Team Management: Lead two core teams—Adversarial Abuse Operations and Business Analytics—providing mentorship, performance management, and career development for senior managers and individual contributors.
• Threat Detection & Response: Oversee the identification, investigation, and remediation of large‑scale abuse patterns, including account hijacking, coordinated spam, and AI‑generated malicious content.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, Policy, Global Operations, and Strategy teams to embed safety signals into product roadmaps and launch rapid‑response initiatives.
• Data‑Driven Insights: Direct the creation of dashboards, metrics, and analytical reports that surface emerging risks, quantify impact, and inform senior leadership decisions.
• Policy Development: Work closely with the Policy team to translate analytical findings into clear, enforceable community guidelines and escalation procedures.
• Innovation & Tooling: Champion the development of machine‑learning models, automation pipelines, and internal tooling that enhance detection accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Global Coordination: Ensure consistent reporting and collaboration with regional safety teams, adapting strategies to local regulatory environments and cultural contexts.
• On‑Call Rotation: Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule, providing critical coverage on weekends and holidays to address time‑sensitive threats.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience).
• At least 2 years of experience leading risk‑mitigation initiatives at scale, with a proven track record of designing and deploying logical solutions to complex abuse problems.
• 2 years of hands‑on experience building data pipelines and machine‑learning models that support large‑scale detection systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams that operate on non‑standard schedules to meet rapid‑deployment timelines.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate raw data into actionable strategy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Information Science.
• 5+ years of experience analyzing massive datasets to uncover anomalies and patterns of malicious behavior.
• Direct experience or a deep interest in combating malicious activity, including coordinated inauthentic behavior, bot networks, or deep‑fake content.
• Proficiency with SQL, R, Python, and/or MATLAB for data extraction, statistical analysis, and model development.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with a history of building strong relationships across engineering, product, policy, and legal partners.
• Business acumen to align technical solutions with broader strategic objectives, balancing risk reduction with user experience.
