Google Ads Specialist

As a Google Ads Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing paid search campaigns for a portfolio of dental practices. You will work closely with Account Managers and other marketing specialists to ensure campaigns align with client goals and deliver strong performance. This is a client-facing role that requires both technical expertise and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate can confidently analyze campaign performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and explain results in a clear and meaningful way to clients.

Responsibilities

Develop, launch, and manage Google Ads campaigns across Search, Performance Max, Display, and other relevant campaign types. Monitor campaign performance and make strategic optimizations to improve lead quality, conversion rates, and return on ad spend. Conduct keyword research, search term analysis, and account audits. Identify trends in search behavior and proactively adjust campaign strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities. Analyze campaign data to diagnose performance issues and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with Account Managers to align advertising strategies with client goals and business objectives. Present campaign performance and recommendations to clients in a professional and easy-to-understand manner. Track and report on key performance metrics using Google Ads, Google Analytics, and other reporting tools. Stay current on Google Ads platform updates, industry trends, and best practices. Continuously seek opportunities to improve campaign performance, internal processes, and overall client results.

Qualifications

Required: 3+ years of hands-on Google Ads management experience. Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing paid search campaigns. Strong understanding of campaign structure, bidding strategies, conversion tracking, and performance analysis. Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable presenting campaign performance and recommendations directly to clients. Preferred: Experience working in a marketing agency environment. Experience in the dental, healthcare, or local-service industries. Google Ads certifications. Experience with call tracking, CRM integrations, and lead attribution reporting.
