Financial Aid Officer- Mississauga
triOS College is a Canada-owned private career college dedicated to helping students become job-ready graduates. They are seeking a Financial Aid Officer to provide financial counseling to students, process financial applications, and maintain student records while contributing to a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Interview student applicants to discuss financial options
- Process students' financial applications
- Create payment plans for students
- Maintain financial reports, issue receipts, and track payments
- Daily Banking (deposits and credit cards)
- Student Accounts / Accounts Receivable / Collections
- Financial Aid administration and funds distribution
- Follow-up with students and administer the Student Loan Default Management tasks
- Correspondence with Career Colleges and Financial Institutions
- Enter student data in Great Plains (GP) & XCAS (when applicable)
- Additional tasks as assigned
Skills
- 1 to 2 years of related work experience
- Experience working with student financial aid is considered an asset
- A strong background in customer service and sales
- Proficient with MS Office, primarily Word and Excel
- A criminal background check will be required for the selected candidate
- Preference will be given to candidates that have experience working in a Private Career College

- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm or 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
