Position Overview
arenaflex is seeking a seasoned Senior Data Analyst to join our Remote Data Entry & Subscription Management team. In this role, you will partner closely with upstream data partners, business operations, and product design teams to ensure the accurate capture, processing, and remediation of subscriber data across the arenaflex streaming portfolio—including arenaflex+, arenaflex Hulu, arenaflex ESPN+, and arenaflex Star+.
The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical expertise with a deep understanding of subscription lifecycle management, data integrity, and cross‑functional communication. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in data pipelines, supporting revenue assurance initiatives, and delivering clear, concise updates to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Capture & Archival: Oversee the ingestion and storage of subscriber information related to billing events, subscription changes, and new data collection, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Issue Identification & Resolution: Develop and execute queries to pinpoint subscribers impacted by billing errors or required legal remediation, collaborating with the incident response team to deliver timely corrections.
- Cross‑Functional Communication: Translate business requirements into technical specifications for engineering teams, and provide succinct status updates or risk assessments to business partners.
- Data Quality & Governance: Build and maintain robust data models that support accurate subscriber metrics, working hand‑in‑hand with Data Product and Data Quality Engineering to design resilient reporting solutions.

- Process Optimization: Drive alignment across Data, Business Operations, and Finance by establishing clear communication processes and functional playbooks that reduce data incidents.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Data Science and Analytics teams to develop predictive models that anticipate churn, identify upsell opportunities, and improve overall subscriber lifetime value.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience writing complex SQL queries, preferably within an ETL pipeline environment.
- At least 2 years of analytical experience interpreting large data sets to drive business decisions.
- Proficiency in a statistical programming language such as Python or R, and familiarity with data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, dplyr).
- Experience with data visualization and BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Chartio.
