With a culture rooted in data‑driven decision‑making, relentless customer focus, and continuous product innovation, arenaflex has built a reputation for turning insights into impactful business outcomes. Our advertising and promotions team plays a pivotal role in shaping how customers discover products, and we are looking for a talented Product Analyst to join this dynamic group.

Why This Role Matters

As a Product Analyst within the arenaflex Advertising organization, you will be the analytical engine that powers strategic initiatives, optimizes revenue streams, and guides product development. Your work will directly influence how marketing campaigns are designed, how ad inventory is allocated, and how the overall customer journey is enhanced. If you thrive on turning complex data sets into clear, actionable recommendations and enjoy collaborating with cross‑functional teams, this is the perfect opportunity to make a measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Initiative Support: Partner with senior leadership to define, prioritize, and execute high‑impact advertising initiatives that align with arenaflex’s growth objectives.
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Gather, clean, and analyze large volumes of advertising, product, and customer data using SQL, Snowflake, and other data‑warehouse technologies.
  • Revenue Optimization: Identify opportunities to maximize yield across arenaflex’s off‑site advertising network, including search, social, and display channels.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing Operations, and Finance to shape product specifications, improve operational workflows, and ensure data integrity.
  • Dashboard Development & Ownership: Design, build, and maintain executive‑level dashboards that provide real‑time visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs), campaign performance, and revenue trends.
  • Insight Communication: Translate complex analytical findings into concise, compelling narratives for audiences ranging from junior analysts to C‑level executives.
  • Problem‑Solving Leadership: Serve as the go‑to expert for the advertising organization, tackling ambiguous problems, formulating hypotheses, and delivering data‑backed solutions.
  • Stakeholder Education: Conduct training sessions and workshops to elevate data literacy across the promotions team, fostering a culture of evidence‑based decision‑making.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend enhancements to data pipelines, reporting tools, and analytical methodologies to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Travel (Occasional): Participate in industry conferences, partner meetings, and on‑site visits as needed to stay abreast of market trends and build relationships.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data analysis, product analytics, or a similar role within a fast‑paced, data‑centric environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL and hands‑on experience with modern data‑warehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) and ETL tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt).
  • Demonstrated expertise with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or the “Scene” suite.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to dive deep into granular data while maintaining a strategic perspective.
  • Solid understanding of digital advertising ecosystems, including search (Google, Bing), social (Meta, TikTok), and programmatic display (DSP, RTB).
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—and the ability to present findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Self‑starter attitude with a proven track record of independently managing projects from inception to delivery.
  • Comfort working in a matrixed organization and collaborating with large, cross‑functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Experience

  • Experience building or supporting auction‑based advertising platforms or yield‑optimization engines.
  • Background in product management or experience partnering closely with engineering teams on feature development.
  • Familiarity with cloud‑based analytics environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and scripting languages such as Python or R.
  • Exposure to A/B testing frameworks and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Prior involvement in scaling data products for high‑traffic consumer applications.
  • Certification in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Tableau Desktop Specialist).

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Rigor: Ability to formulate hypotheses, design experiments, and interpret results with statistical confidence.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong command of SQL, data modeling, and familiarity with ETL pipelines and data‑warehouse concepts.
  • Business Insight: Understanding of revenue models, advertising metrics (e.g., CPM, CPC, ROI), and how they translate to business outcomes.
  • Communication Excellence: Skillful storytelling that turns data into compelling business narratives.
  • Collaboration: Proven experience working effectively with product, engineering, marketing, and finance partners.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and evolving business needs.
  • Customer‑First Mindset: Passion for delivering exceptional end‑to‑end experiences that delight arenaflex’s pet‑owner customers.
