This is a full‑time, day‑shift, remote position based primarily in the Philippines, with regular collaboration across teams in Singapore, Korea, Australia, and India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll Processing: Execute end‑to‑end payroll runs for assigned APAC countries using arenaflex’s integrated payroll platform.
  • Data Entry & Validation: Accurately enter, verify, and update employee data, compensation details, and statutory information in arenaflex’s HR system.
  • Onboarding & Off‑boarding: Prepare and post payroll changes for new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations, ensuring all documentation complies with local labor laws.
  • Expense Management: Process weekly expense reimbursements through arenaflex’s host‑to‑host interface, reconciling any discrepancies promptly.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Generate monthly, quarterly, and year‑end payroll reports, tax filings, and statutory submissions in partnership with external payroll providers.
  • Employee Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll‑related inquiries via arenaflex’s ticketing system, delivering clear and courteous assistance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the APAC Finance team, external payroll vendors, and internal stakeholders to align processes and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance data quality across the payroll lifecycle.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on payroll or accounting experience within a BPO, shared services, or similar high‑volume environment.
  • Demonstrated experience processing payroll for APAC countries, particularly Korea, Australia, and India.
  • Strong knowledge of APAC statutory payroll regulations, tax obligations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with arenaflex’s HR and payroll platforms (formerly known as Workday) and advanced skills in arenaflex’s spreadsheet tools (formerly Google Sheets) and arenaflex’s document suite (formerly Microsoft Word and Excel).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional APAC language proficiency is a plus.
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

  • Certification in payroll (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional) or relevant professional training.
  • Experience with third‑party payroll service providers and vendor management.
