Why This Role Will Inspire You

At arenaflex, the Senior Engineer – Remote Maintenance Design role is more than a job; it’s a chance to influence the reliability and safety of an entire fleet while enjoying the flexibility of a remote work environment. You will be a trusted advisor to our maintenance teams, translating complex technical challenges into actionable solutions that keep aircraft airborne and passengers smiling. If you thrive on solving intricate problems, mentoring peers, and driving engineering excellence, this position offers the perfect blend of technical depth and strategic impact.

Key Responsibilities

As a senior member of the Design Team within the Integrated Projects Division, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead cross‑functional project teams, coordinating with maintenance, operations, and supply‑chain stakeholders to deliver timely and cost‑effective engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers and external consultants to validate design changes, modifications, and repair procedures.
  • Create and maintain detailed engineering procedures for repairs, inspections, modifications, and testing, filling gaps where existing manuals are insufficient.
  • Analyze aircraft and component failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions that minimize downtime and reduce operational costs.
  • Develop and implement engineering work plans for fleet‑wide initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of evolving aviation regulations, industry best practices, and emerging technologies that affect maintenance design.
  • Utilize available resources to continuously improve technical expertise and practical experience, while enhancing communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Engage proactively with internal and external customers, delivering clear, data‑driven recommendations that support decision‑making and operational excellence.

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following core qualifications:

  • Exposure to digital engineering tools such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or Siemens NX.
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) or demonstrated project leadership experience.
  • Fluency in additional languages, which can be advantageous for global collaboration.
