Clinician/Therapist
OUTPATIENT JOB DESCRIPTION Life Stories Counseling is a small practice that is growing and seeking residents and licensed clinicians to provide telehealth services in the state of Virginia. Seeking motivated, compassionate individuals who enjoy working with a diverse group of people and delivering quality services. Job Responsibilities: Outpatient therapist is responsible for providing individual and family therapy services. Other job responsibilities include: crisis management, upkeeping of clinical documentation; mental health assessments, treatment plans, progress notes and discharge notes in an electronic health records system. Coordination of care with outside providers and agencies. Attend monthly team meetings. Requirements: Education: Master’s degree from accredited college or university in the field of counseling/human/mental health services required. Candidates must be fully licensed as an LPC, LMFT or LCSW from the board of health professions in the state of Virginia. Accepting residents in counseling or supervisees in social work, residents must be receiving on-going clinical supervision towards license with a licensed provider. Active Individual malpractice insurance 3 professional references MUST BE A RESIDENT OF THE STATE OF VIRGINIA Experience: Minimum of 2 years work experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescent, adults and families in a clinical setting preferred Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrate and comply with knowledge of ethical standards. Comply with HIPPA guidelines and organizational policies Posses strong clinical writing and communication skills, experience working with individuals with significant emotional, mental or behavioral health disorders and co-occurring disorders. Must have knowledge of crisis interventions and therapeutic modalities, evidenced based counseling practices, familiar with diagnostic criteria and assessments. Job Type: Contract, Part-time, Full-Time Licensed Pay: $55-65/per hour Resident/Supervisee Pay: $40/per hour Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Base Pay: $40.00 - $65.00 per hour Application Question(s):
