• Trial: 2-week paid jelling/trial period to start
• Time Commitment: Full-time (~40 hrs/week) or Part-time (~20 hrs/week)

About iClinic iClinic is a Houston-based AI healthcare startup founded by a practicing interventional cardiologist. We build purpose-built, production-grade clinical voice agents that reduce administrative burden and improve operational efficiency for clinics, doctors, and patients. We are not building generic chatbots — and we're already live in medical clinics. Who We're Looking For iClinic is already live in medical clinics. The code you write runs in real clinical environments — if a bug slips through, a real clinic feels it. The bar for quality, reliability, and attention to detail is high. This is a hands-on internship where you'll work directly with a founder-physician, own real features end to end, and help shape the product from the ground up. We're looking for a student or early-career engineer (0–2 years) who is hardworking, meticulous, and thrives under real responsibility. If that sounds like pressure rather than opportunity, this isn't the right fit.

What You'll Do

• Build and improve real-time AI voice agents in live clinical settings
• Help design conversation logic and integrate voice pipelines end to end
• Build and maintain APIs and webhook-driven workflows
• Contribute to early technical and product decisions alongside the founder

Requirements - Must-have:

• Strong programming fundamentals and a real drive to build
• Proven ability to ship — detail-oriented, hardworking, full ownership of your work
• Solid grasp of API design and webhook integration concepts
• Final-year students, recent grads, or engineers with 0–2 years of experience welcome
• Expected to use AI tools to complete most simple/routine tasks efficiently

Nice-to-have:

• Hands-on experience with Retell AI, Twilio, or LiveKit
• Experience building Voice AI systems
• Interest or experience in healthcare or healthtech
• LLM integration, backend (Node.js/Python), AWS, or frontend (React/Next.js)
• Prior startup or internship experience

Work Expectations Must overlap with US working hours. For India-based candidates: ~4 hours mornings IST (founder syncs), ~4 hours evenings IST (clinic hours), plus 1–2 hours on weekends. This role requires real-time availability — not a 9-to-5. Path & Growth Start with a 2-week paid trial/jelling period.
