Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative for arenaflex, you will be responsible for a broad set of duties that ensure accurate financial processing and exceptional customer experiences. Your day‑to‑day activities will include:

  • Performing comprehensive data entry and reconciliation of financial records, ensuring all entries are accurate and compliant with industry standards.
  • Coordinating return items with customers, vendors, banks, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies quickly and efficiently.
  • Assisting multiple teams with fraud detection, part requests, and related accounting ledger adjustments.
  • Managing part‑related cases and projects, tracking progress, and delivering timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and enforcing compliance with NACHA rules, banking regulations, and federal financial statutes.
  • Processing contract invoices, multi‑record and part invoices, credit card statements, and a variety of audits, including IRA, financial loss, and performance audits.
  • Reviewing, analyzing, and approving remote store, mobile, ATM, and other image‑based transactions.
  • Logging, reviewing, and posting significant GL (General Ledger) entries, account adjustments, and potential refunds.
  • Handling stop payments, check bundling, and other special payment instructions.
  • Executing routine reconciliations and month‑end close procedures.
  • Gathering information from customers to ensure accurate and timely processing of both domestic and international financial transfers.
  • Researching and validating upcoming and ongoing financial transfer data, communicating with merchants to schedule transfers, and ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Storing investigation returns, focusing on part‑related tests on draft changes, processing part tests, and confirming customer authorizations for financial moves.
  • Maintaining meticulous records and ensuring all work complies with the Bank Secrecy Act and related compliance frameworks.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; additional post‑secondary education is a plus.
  • Experience: Prior experience in customer service, banking, or financial services, preferably with exposure to payment processing and account reconciliation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and familiarity with industry‑specific platforms such as Episys or Symitar.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
  • Analytical Ability: Strong numerical aptitude and the capacity to perform detailed calculations and data analysis.
  • Compliance Awareness: Understanding of NACHA guidelines, banking regulations, and the Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business needs.

  • Experience with electronic funds transfer (EFT) systems and wire processing.
