2D Animator

Pine Creek Games is looking for a 2D Animator - Unannounced Title Hiring Applicants Within CEST Timezone (+ - 2 hours) Pine Creek Games is looking for a 2D animator. You have experience from working in at least one other game company, preferably a small indie studio like ours. We are looking for an animator who has a strong focus on animation and who can create fluent animations efficiently. You will become a part of a small team of 3-5 members, where you will help with animation tasks for our next project. Pine Creek Games is a startup company that released our first game Winter Burrow in November 2025 and is now working on our next title. The games we make are explorative and adventurous and currently very inspired by nature. We are a fully remote company with no office so you can work from where you want. What we offer: Monthly salary of 40.000 DKK Remote workplace where you can work from where you want A positive and friendly work environment Your responsibilities are: Creating 2D Puppet animations for the game in Spine and/or ToonBoom Harmony, possibly making additional frame by frame animations Creation of rigs for 2D animation Implementing skins into 2D rigs What we look for: An animator with work experience (artist skills are very welcome) An animator proficient in puppet animation (frame by frame animation skills would be a plus!) Experience with Spine and/or ToonBoom Harmony Experience with implementing assets in Unity 3D game engine Adapt at working in small teams, an excellent communicator Comfortable with remote work and online communication Available in regular office hours timezone CET Not using LLM (AI) in their work Practical Info: Contract type: Freelance/Consultant Contract duration: Project estimated to 2 years Deadline: Rolling applications Consultancy start: As soon as possible Apply To This Job
