Capital Markets & Treasury Associate

The Capital Markets & Treasury Associate will assist in debt capital markets transactions and gain exposure to various teams while developing into a well-rounded professional in capital markets and treasury analysis.
Responsibilities
- Assist execution of debt capital markets transaction processes and drives asset-backed warehouse facilities renewals
- Participates in meetings with investors, lenders, rating agencies, and others on a limited basis
- Work with internal management, underwriters, rating agencies and counsel in the transaction process with oversight
- Preparation and review of programmatic slide decks
- Assist with other funding and balance sheet management projects as directed by management
- Maintain surveillance of OneMain and peer ABS deals
- Assist in maintaining databases/lists including investor lists, OneMain debt, and marketplace (competitor activity) databases
- Help develop and maintain models including but not limited to: securitization cash flow models, borrowing base models for conduit draws, cost of funds spreadsheets, peer comparisons
- Broad exposure to a variety of teams including the executive management team, FP&A, Risk, Analytics and operations
Skills
- 1-3+ years exposure to the debt capital markets (capital markets experience at an ABS issuer, rating agency, leveraged finance group, ABS underwriter or ABS accounting/consulting firm preferred)
- BS/BA in business, finance, accounting, economics or similar technical field
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel, PowerPoint) required
- Excellent work ethic and willingness to contribute broadly to achieve team and company objectives
- Strong verbal and written communication as well as technical and organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills, organized, and possess a high attention to detail
- Ability and willingness to travel every quarter
