[Remote] Sr Engineer

Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is seeking a Sr Engineer to serve as a technical expert within a product team focused on enabling Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities. The role involves building and supporting backend Java services, integrations, and data pipelines to enhance campaign execution and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Apply technical knowledge to support SFMC campaign activation and integration with Java or other object-oriented services (e.g., Apex, C#)
- Solve problems independently aligned to broader software engineering strategy and platform direction
- Design integrations across Java or other object-oriented services and SFMC supporting scalable campaign activation patterns
Skills
- Deep expertise in integrating applications across platforms
- Experience working with diverse API contracts
- Knowledge of data models and cloud services (e.g., AWS)
- Technical knowledge to support SFMC campaign activation and integration with Java or other object-oriented services (e.g., Apex, C#)
- Ability to solve problems independently aligned to broader software engineering strategy and platform direction
- Experience designing integrations across Java or other object-oriented services and SFMC supporting scalable campaign activation patterns
- Specialized engineering technology expertise in Salesforce
