[Remote] Senior Network Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to provide technical support for their global network infrastructure, ensuring secure and scalable network services while leading major network initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Engineer, implement, and optimize global LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, SD WAN, and hybrid cloud connectivity across all locations
- Execute network architecture standards, ensuring secure and resilient connectivity for new site deployments, lab expansions, and integrations
- Support cloud networking, ensuring reliable and optimized connectivity between on-prem and cloud environments
- Implement and maintain firewall policies, segmentation strategies, and Zero Trust/NAC capabilities across corporate, lab, manufacturing, and regulated systems
- Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex network incidents, leading root cause analysis and strengthening monitoring and alerting capabilities
- Ensure high availability and performance through proactive capacity planning and redundant design across global sites
- Maintain accurate network documentation, runbooks, and change management standards to ensure consistent, controlled operations
Skills
- 7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience supporting global, multi-site environments
- Strong expertise in routing, switching, SD WAN, firewalls, enterprise Wi-Fi, and core protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VPNs, VLANs, QoS)
- Experience supporting regulated or manufacturing environments and working with managed service providers
- Familiarity with Azure networking and hybrid cloud connectivity
- Strong troubleshooting ability and disciplined documentation practices
- CCNP certification (strongly preferred); CCIE a plus
- AWS networking certifications, preferred
- Experience in biotech, pharma, healthcare, or similar regulated industries, preferred
