[Remote] Investment Banking - Healthcare -EY Capital Advisors - Associate

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. EY is a global leader in professional services, seeking an Associate for their Investment Banking division within EY Capital Advisors. The role involves providing clients with objective advice on M&A and corporate financing alternatives, focusing on financial data analysis, preparing financial models, and supporting business development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute M&A and corporate finance engagements
• Analyze financial data and identify key trends behind the performance of a business
• Prepare financial models and cash flow scenarios
• Conduct research and drive analyses, marketing presentations, and information memoranda
• Help develop team members ensuring their career development

Skills

• A bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and at least 1-2 years of related work experience
• Investment banking experience
• Existing Series 7 and/or 79 plus Series 63 securities licenses (in good standing)
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including the ability to exercise sound independent judgment
• A proven record of excellence in investment banking specific to mergers, acquisitions and capital markets
• Strong working knowledge of Excel to develop financial models, knowledge of pivot tables and using excel for in-depth modeling
• Efficient use of research databases, technical ability to manipulate data
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization
• You must either reside in or be at a commutable distance to your office location for this position
• The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs
• Experience gained within another large financial services organization
• Established networking skills in a relevant industry
• A proven record of excellence in investment banking with a focus on M&A transactions
• Knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot
