Position Overview

Job Title: Remote Bilingual Spanish-English Customer Experience Specialist Location: Work at Home – Texas Residents Only Employment Type: Full-Time, Bilingual Verified Compensation: $18.00 per hour

As a Bilingual Customer Experience Specialist on our insurance-based program, you will be the front line of support for our client's members. You will handle inbound inquiries, resolve concerns, document essential information for compliance and auditing, and identify opportunities to enhance the member's experience through additional services and resources. Your ability to communicate clearly and compassionately in both English and Spanish will directly impact member satisfaction, retention, and overall program success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Member Support and Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for members calling regarding their insurance benefits, claims, coverage questions, and general account needs. Listen actively, empathize sincerely, and resolve concerns on the first call whenever possible.
  • Accurate Documentation: Document all call-related information thoroughly and accurately in our CRM and internal systems for auditing, reporting, and quality assurance purposes. Maintain strict adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Account Maintenance: Update member information as needed, verify coverage details, and ensure records remain current and accurate across all platforms.
  • Service Enhancement and Upselling: Identify opportunities to inform members about new or enhanced services, products, or benefits that may better serve their needs, while always prioritizing the member's best interest.
  • Quality and Compliance Adherence: Follow all program-specific guidelines, scripts, and compliance requirements to ensure consistent service delivery and adherence to HIPAA and insurance industry standards.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing training, coaching sessions, and professional development opportunities to stay current on product updates, regulatory changes, and best practices.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Language Proficiency: Fully bilingual in Spanish and English, with demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak fluently in both languages. Bilingual verification is required as part of the hiring process.
  • Residency: Must reside in the state of Texas and be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with exceptional listening and comprehension abilities.
  • Technical Skills: Strong computer navigation skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. Ability to learn new software systems quickly.
  • Professionalism: Courteous, customer-oriented, and patient demeanor, especially when working with elderly or disabled members who may need extra time and understanding.
  • Reliability: Consistent attendance, punctuality, and commitment to scheduled shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior customer service experience, preferably in a call center, healthcare, or insurance environment.
  • Experience working with elderly, disabled, or vulnerable populations.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, ticketing systems, or member portals.
  • Sales or upselling experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual call center certification.

Work Environment and Technical Requirements

This is a 100% remote position, and you will need to create a quiet, professional home office environment that supports focused, distraction-free work. To ensure we can equip you for success, the following requirements must be met:

  • Dedicated Workspace: Your work at home environment must be in a private residence located at the address listed in your personnel file. A separate, quiet space free from interruptions is essential.
  • Equipment Provided by arenaflex: arenaflex will provide the necessary equipment, which may include a computer, monitor, headset, and webcam.
  • Internet Connection: You must provide a Broadband Internet connection — DSL or Cable only. Satellite, Dial-up, and Wireless Internet connections are not permitted. Your workstation must be connected directly to the Internet with proof that your ISP meets a minimum download speed of 10 Mbps and a minimum upload speed of 3 Mbps.
  • Physical Demands: This role involves constant sedentary work. You will be using a phone and computer system for the duration of your shift.
  • Schedule: Full-time position with consistent scheduling. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, may be required based on program needs.
