You will be responsible for answering questions related to their healthcare benefits, guiding them through complex processes, and delivering the kind of warm, knowledgeable support that turns a routine call into a meaningful interaction.
This is more than a typical customer service job. As a Remote Healthcare Customer Experience Specialist at arenaflex, you will become a trusted point of contact for members who depend on you to help them understand and access their benefits. You will be empowered to make a real difference in the lives of others every single day, while also earning performance-based cash incentives on top of your competitive base pay. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, and earned paid time off. If you have the skills to succeed and the motivation to make it happen, we look forward to hearing from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Professionally handle a high volume of incoming calls from members seeking assistance with healthcare benefits, demonstrating patience, empathy, and accuracy on every interaction.
- Thoroughly and efficiently gather customer information, assess and fulfill customer needs, and educate customers where applicable regarding healthcare products, services, and plan features.
- Utilize and navigate multiple systems simultaneously to access member records, update account information, and provide accurate, real-time support without missing a beat.
- Be dependable and consistently meet all attendance requirements, understanding that our members rely on us to be available when they need us most.
- Resolve customer issues on the first call whenever possible, following one-call resolution guidelines or escalating through proper channels when a more complex solution is required.
- Meet or exceed company and client performance metrics related to call quality, member satisfaction, handle time, and resolution rates.
- Maintain a thoughtful balance between company policy and client benefit in decision making, always advocating for the member while protecting the integrity of the program.
- Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact our clients and their customers, and share those ideas with your leadership team.
- Be responsible for accurate call disposition and for compiling and documenting customer information as required by client and regulatory standards.
- Embrace change with a positive attitude, adapting to evolving business needs, new client requirements, and the fast-moving nature of the customer experience industry.

- Demonstrated passion for excellence when treating and caring for customers, especially senior citizens who may require extra patience and clear communication.
- Strong decision-making and analytical abilities, with the confidence to assess situations quickly and recommend the best course of action.
- Ability to identify customer needs and clearly articulate healthcare products, services, and benefits in a way that is easy to understand.
