About the Role

KIN Apparel is hiring a strategic, hands-on marketer to own customer lifecycle marketing across email, SMS, loyalty, Shopify, product launches, landing pages, and retention reporting. This role is built for someone who understands how to turn customer touchpoints into stronger relationships, repeat purchases, and owned-channel revenue. You’ll collaborate closely with KIN’s founder and internal team to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns that support product launches, seasonal promotions, customer education, loyalty engagement, and long-term brand growth. This is a Retention & E-Commerce Marketing Role, not a social media or influencer position. We’re looking for a marketer who can balance strategy, creative execution, brand storytelling, and performance reporting while staying aligned with KIN’s culture, community, and care-first mission. If you’re comfortable working across platforms like Klaviyo, Shopify, Yotpo, and Attentive, enjoy building campaigns that drive results, and know how to use data to improve the customer journey, this role was built for you. What You’ll Do · Plan, build, and optimize email campaigns and automated flows in Klaviyo · Manage SMS campaigns and coordinated cross-channel messaging through Attentive or similar platforms · Support loyalty, reviews, rewards, and referral strategy through Yotpo · Update Shopify product pages, collections, landing pages, and promotional pages as needed · Build retention plans for product launches, seasonal drops, collaborations, and promotions · Segment customers based on purchase behavior, engagement, lifecycle stage, product interest, and loyalty activity · Create or coordinate brand-aligned copy for email, SMS, landing pages, and customer journeys · Monitor campaign and flow performance, including revenue, conversion rate, click rate, open rate, deliverability, and list health · Provide weekly reporting with clear insights, recommended next steps, and opportunities for growth · Collaborate with the internal team on launches, promotions, customer experience, and last-minute campaign pivots as needed Who We’re Looking For · 3-5+ years of e-commerce, lifecycle, retention, and/or digital marketing experience. · Hands-on experience with Klaviyo, Shopify, Yotpo, and Attentive or similar SMS platforms · Strong understanding of segmentation, automated flows, retention strategy, customer journeys, and promotional campaigns · Strong copywriting instincts with the ability to maintain a clear, community-centered brand voice · Comfortable reviewing campaign performance data and turning insights into action · Experience with product launches, seasonal promotions, landing pages, A/B testing, and marketing calendars · Detail-oriented, organized, responsive, and able to work independently in a remote startup environment · Comfortable collaborating with founders, creative teams, and fast-moving internal teams · Able to balance strategy, execution, creativity, reporting, and customer experience · Self-motivated and excited by measurable growth, owned-channel revenue, and customer retention · Fashion, hair care, beauty, apparel, wellness, or DTC brand experience is a plus · Passion for KIN’s mission of inclusive, functional, community-driven fashion Schedule and Commitment · Remote contractor role working closely with the KIN Founder and internal team · Monthly contractor role focused on retention, e-commerce growth, and owned-channel performance · Responsible for email, SMS, loyalty, Shopify support, launches, landing pages, and weekly reporting · Must be able to manage campaign timelines, deadlines, and recurring marketing needs · Comfortable with occasional last-minute pivots, campaign add-ons, and fast-moving priorities · Best suited for someone who is proactive, organized, communicative, and able to work independently · Opportunity to grow with a mission-driven brand long-term Compensation · Remote contractor at the rate of $3,000/month · Scope includes retention marketing, e-commerce campaign support, Shopify updates, launch planning, landing pages, and reporting · Designed for a hands-on marketer who can support both strategy and execution · Growth opportunities may expand with consistency, performance, reliability, and results Why This Role Is Different · You’ll own customer lifecycle marketing across email, SMS, loyalty, Shopify, launches, and landing pages · Your work will directly impact repeat purchases, customer lifetime value, loyalty, and owned-channel revenue · You’ll help shape campaigns for a mission-driven brand with a loyal and growing community · You’ll blend brand storytelling, e-commerce strategy, creative execution, customer experience, and performance reporting · KIN is more than a brand.
