[Remote] Project Manager II
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Highland Electric Fleets is a leading provider of Electrification-as-a-Service (EaaS) focused on making electric fleets accessible and affordable. The Project Manager II will lead the design and installation of EV charging infrastructure projects, managing the entire project lifecycle and collaborating with various internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full project lifecycle from pre-contract, execution, project completion and operational deployment
- Partner with key internal experts to deliver projects with excellent customer experiences
- Manage multiple projects in various stages at the same time
- Select engineering consultants and installation contractors for projects
- Negotiate and execute project-based subcontractor agreements
- Coordinate with utilities for service upgrades and interconnection scopes of work
- Support submission of all project permitting requirements
- Establish and maintain project cost forecasts and actuals
- Develop and drive detailed project schedules
- Ensure compliance with all project and customer requirements
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors and internal to solve unique challenges
Skills
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years professional experience OR 5+ years professional experience
- 4+ years direct project management experience, preferably electrical or civil
- Excellent analytical skills
- Self-motivated: proactively assume responsibilities, with the ability to operate effectively with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to collaborate across departments within the company, external customers, and partners
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- EV charging infrastructure experience
- Renewable energy project experience (V2G, BESS, solar, storage, microgrid)
