[Remote] Capital Expenditure & Real Estate Accounting Consultant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. IES Infinity Executive Search is seeking a highly skilled Consultant to drive core financial excellence within Capital Expenditure and Real Estate. In this role, you will manage complex accounting workflows while partnering with leadership to evaluate existing workflows and implement optimized financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage extensive Capital Expenditure accounting, ensuring accurate and proper cost booking across the portfolio
- Partner with executive leadership as the resident subject matter expert, acting as the lead for all process optimization and redesign initiatives
- Evaluate existing workflows to identify opportunities for process optimization and reporting quality
- Actively redesign and implement new operational and financial processes to improve efficiency
- Apply deep Real Estate industry knowledge to support specialized financial outcomes and business objectives
- Support ad-hoc finance initiatives and strategic cross-functional projects within the Controllership function
Skills
- Extensive, hands-on experience with Cap Ex accounting and proper cost booking
- Direct and proven experience operating within the Real Estate industry
- Mandatory experience working for large companies within a Controllership capacity (either as an external consultant or in-house)
- Demonstrated track record of successfully redesigning and implementing organizational processes
- Must be currently based out of the USA and capable of operating independently within a remote team structure
- A background in a Big 4 firm is a strong plus, but not required
