Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dice is a company looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their Global Network Operations team. The role involves providing L3 Operations support, designing complex network solutions, and managing various network environments for clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide L3 Operations support for investigation, troubleshooting and resolving network communications and operations issues impacting client, backbone access, or performance
- Design, engineer, and implement complex network solutions in a variety of disciplines, security postures, access control, and infrastructure
- Responsible for Incident Management, Request Fulfillment, Change Management, Event Management, and Problem Management for all client environments
- Understanding of large-scale network capacity management and modeling
- Proactively monitor client network performance to assess and making recommendations for improvement
- Proactively contribute to documentation, automation and processes improvement
Skills
- Expertise in complex BGP, OSPF, EIGRP routing (loop prevention in BGP etc)
- Zscaler (private access deployment)
- Cisco Nexus 9K
- Firewall code upgrade; Firewall (Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet) policy audits and changes
- Automate network deployment and troubleshooting using Skills with python
