[Remote] Biocompatibility Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SGS Consulting is focused on consumer electronics and analytical testing. They are seeking a Biocompatibility Project Manager who will engage with cross-functional teams and suppliers to drive material selection and biocompatibility testing during the product development process.
Responsibilities
- Engaging with cross functional partners and suppliers to drive material selection and biocompatibility testing during product development process
- Clear communication to peers and SME's and help build processes and specifications
- Partner with cross functional team members and suppliers to drive selection of biocompatible materials, sample coordination, and coordinate testing throughout product development process
- Clear and effective communication of Biocompatibility goals and findings with cross functional team and leadership
- Manage and track analytical testing results and biocompatibility assessment and set up a process to track and communicate efficiently
- Ability to prioritize programs and issues to meet timelines within a fast-paced environment
- Engage with biocompatibility experts and cross-functional teams towards building workflows, processes, and SOPs
Skills
- Good understanding of consumer electronics
- Analytical testing experience (HPLC, ICPMS, LC/MS, GS/MS)
- Demonstrated experience in program management
- Experience in a collaborative cross functional, fast paced environment
- Engaging with cross functional partners and suppliers to drive material selection and biocompatibility testing
- Clear communication to peers and SMEs
- Building processes and specifications
- BS or MS in Chemistry, Toxicology, Biomedical science, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of project management in a corporate setting
- Experience managing multiple complex projects successfully
- Ability to prioritize issues/projects effectively
- Basic understanding of analytical testing methodologies
- Ability to work in fast paced, collaborative, cross functional environment
- Strong analytical skills and ability to think outside of the box
- STRONG program management skills
- Clear communication skills
- Consumer electronics experience
- Experience with Bio-comp. and customer safety
- Science and engineering background (Toxicology, Biomedical science, Engineering, or related fields)
- Experience working in a fast pace environment managing multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines
- Good understanding of program development checkpoints
