[Remote] Regional Sales Manager Southeast

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kanthal, part of the Alleima Group, is a world-leading provider of products and services in industrial heating technology and resistance materials. They are seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast to develop and execute a regional sales business plan, manage territory expansion, and maintain strong customer relationships while driving business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the regional sales business plan to achieve defined targets and growth objectives
  • Own accountability for achieving short-term (18-month rolling) revenue, pricing, and business development goals
  • Manage and expand the territory by identifying target accounts and engaging key technical decision-makers
  • Drive business intelligence activities, including analysis of competitors, pricing strategies, market trends, and industry dynamics
  • Lead, manage, and develop independent sales representatives to optimize territory performance
  • Consistently follow up on leads and convert opportunities into active customers
  • Maintain strong customer relationships while identifying new opportunities for growth

Skills

  • Proven success in quota attainment and sales forecasting
  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Relationship building and client management expertise
  • Technical sales experience, preferably in OEM environments
  • Contract negotiation and deal management skills
  • Metrics-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) and standard business software
  • Minimum of 6+ years of successful experience in a high-value sales or sales management role, preferably within the U.S. market
  • Demonstrated ability to drive growth through strategic thinking and a proactive, 'hunter' mentality
  • Strong decision-making skills, including the ability to operate effectively in uncertain or evolving environments
  • Collaborative leadership style with a strong customer focus
  • A valid driver's license is required
  • A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering—or equivalent technical experience
  • Experience in industrial heating, electrification, or semiconductor industries is a strong advantage
