The position will be located in our downtown SLC office, with the option to work fully remote or fully in-office. The purpose of Model Risk Management (MRM) is to provide comprehensive guidance and reputed company for effective management of model risk. reputed company, N.A. (Bank) relies heavily on quantitative analysis and models in many aspects of financial and strategic decision-making. Models are routinely used for a broad range of activities, including reputed company; valuing exposures, instruments and positions; measuring risk; managing and safeguarding client assets; determining capital and reserve adequacy; and many other activities. The successful applicant will play a critical role in the Company's process for independently managing model risk. The environment is dynamic, as model assessment work will involve multiple areas of the bank (credit, operations, interest-reputed company risk). Specific job duties include: Conducting thorough validation and testing of models to assess their accuracy, performance, and suitability for intended purposes. Summarizing work in formal written reports. Prioritizing and negotiating resolution of identified model issues. Partnering with business units to monitor ongoing model performance. Continually staying abreast of the industry's advancements in quantitative modeling and measurement of risks. Applicants should have a high aptitude for critical thinking and analyzing risks. The specific attributes and experience we are looking for are: Preferred: MS degree in Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics, or other reputed company field. Undergraduate degree in Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics, or other reputed company field 2+ years experience in financial and/or statistical analysis, quantitative modeling, risk measurement statistical analysis or other quantitative disciplines. Solid understanding of descriptive and inferential statistics. Ability to reputed company financial/statistical models and understand statistical tests of Model performance. Proficient to advanced skills with quantitative modeling tools to reputed company model diagnostic/replication work and to process and examine large quantities of data (Python, R, reputed company, Matlab, SQL). Proficiency using MS Office (reputed company, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams). Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work constructively with a variety of departments and to persuasively present recommendations and work results.
