Role Overview – What You’ll Do Every Day

The Phone & Chat Support Specialist role is a pivotal position within arenaflex’s remote operations hub. You will serve as the primary point of contact for nurses seeking shift assignments, verifying their credentials, and guiding them through the onboarding process. Your responsibilities will span inbound and outbound phone calls, real‑time chat interactions, and meticulous data entry—all aimed at ensuring that qualified professionals are matched quickly and accurately with open positions.

This role is fully remote, offering flexible scheduling within our core operating hours (8:00 am – 8:00 pm EST). You will receive three weeks of comprehensive paid training, after which you will be equipped with the tools and knowledge to excel in a high‑impact, customer‑focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Credential Verification: Review and confirm nursing licenses, certifications, and other required documents after a nurse selects a healthcare facility.
  • Communication Management: Deliver clear, concise written confirmations via email or chat, and conduct follow‑up phone calls to inform nurses of their credential status.
  • Call & Chat Handling: Manage large volumes of inbound and outbound calls, as well as multiple simultaneous chat sessions, adhering to established scripts and service standards.
  • Problem Solving: Identify nurses’ needs, clarify any ambiguities, research solutions, and provide alternatives when necessary.
  • Data Entry & Record Keeping: Accurately input credential data, shift requests, and interaction notes into arenaflex’s secure systems.
  • Resource Navigation: Efficiently access arenaflex and client resources to resolve inquiries and support shift placement.
  • Task Switching: Seamlessly transition between calls, chats, and data entry tasks without loss of efficiency or composure.
  • Attendance & Punctuality: Maintain consistent presence at your workstation during scheduled shifts, ensuring reliability for both nurses and facility partners.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service or support, preferably within a call‑center environment.
