Position Overview
The Senior Data Entry Specialist is a full-time, remote role based in Texas, operating on a standard 40-hour workweek schedule. You will perform a variety of data entry duties using specialized data entry devices, supporting multiple operational functions within arenaflex. The typical work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Standard Time, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime and weekend availability required during our annual open enrollment period from October through February.
While the position is fully remote, candidates residing within a commutable distance to our Fort Worth office at 300 Burnett Plaza, Fort Worth, TX 76116 will occasionally be invited onsite for quarterly team meetings, providing valuable opportunities to connect with colleagues and align on strategic initiatives. New hires will benefit from a comprehensive multi-week on-the-job training program, conducted during normal business hours, to ensure a confident transition into the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate data entry devices and systems to accurately input, update, and maintain records across Claims and Network Operations functions.
- Process high volumes of information with exceptional accuracy, ensuring data integrity and compliance with organizational standards.
- Perform a variety of data entry tasks that may occasionally extend beyond established procedures, requiring independent problem-solving.
- Complete routine tasks with minimal supervision while escalating more complex issues to appropriate team members or leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational goals, especially during peak periods such as open enrollment.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security of all sensitive company and member information in accordance with arenaflex policies and applicable regulations.
- Adapt to evolving business needs by learning new computer applications, system updates, and process improvements as they are introduced.
- Consistently meet productivity and quality benchmarks while maintaining focus during repetitive or detail-intensive tasks.
- Participate in quarterly onsite team meetings and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- High School Diploma, General Educational Development (GED) credential, or equivalent work experience.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Minimum of one year of experience working in a customer service environment, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience with computers and Windows-based PC applications, including the ability to learn new and complex software systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook, with the ability to navigate additional Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work standard business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST, with the flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends during the open enrollment period (October through February).
- Residency within the state of Texas is required for this remote position.
