Key Responsibilities
Core Data Entry (≈ 80% of your day)
- Enter complex patient, specimen, and test details into the LIMS with a target throughput of 210‑450 submission forms daily.
- Maintain an average entry speed of at least 80 forms per hour while adhering to strict quality controls.
- Identify missing or incomplete information, request clarifications, and ensure all data is complete before final submission.
- Achieve a documented error rate of no more than eighteen entry errors per calendar year, in line with our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform routine verification of entered data against printed patient and specimen demographics, correcting any discrepancies on the same day.
Quality Assurance & Verification (≈ 20% of your day)
- Print and review patient/specimen demographics for 210‑450 forms daily, confirming accuracy against source documents.
- Edit and re‑release any incorrectly entered information, ensuring zero backlog and compliance with SOPs.
- Archive completed submission forms according to regulatory retention schedules.
- Maintain a documented error rate of no more than eighteen miss‑caught information errors per year.
End‑of‑Day Operations & Support (≈ 10% of your day)
- Generate and distribute end‑of‑day reports for laboratory leadership.
- File and organize electronic and physical records, including PKU monitoring, unsatisfactory specimens, clinical chemistry entries, and newborn screening queries.
- Prepare and label storage boxes for archived specimens, ensuring traceability and compliance.
- Respond promptly to email inquiries from lab personnel, providing accurate information and timely assistance.
Additional Duties (≈ 5% of your day)
- Participate in disaster response, recovery, or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activation as needed, which may involve alternate shift patterns or remote locations.
- Serve as a liaison to the Safety Office, promoting a laboratory‑wide safety culture and reporting hazards or incidents.

Essential Qualifications
