Key Responsibilities

- Conduct routine data verification checks, cross‑referencing source documents to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate promptly with supervisors or internal stakeholders when clarification is needed, documenting any issues for audit trails.
- Generate routine and ad‑hoc reports, printouts, and data extracts to support departmental needs and external compliance requirements.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems to ensure easy retrieval of source documents.
- Assist in the development and refinement of data entry procedures, suggesting improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce error rates.
- Participate in periodic data quality audits and contribute to corrective action plans.
- Support other team members during peak periods, providing backup for high‑volume data entry tasks.

Education & Experience Requirements
Data Entry Technician I (Entry Level)
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year of hands‑on data entry experience in any industry.
Data Entry Technician II (Intermediate)
- Completion of a one‑year certificate program from a college or technical school, or a combination of education and 1.5 years of related experience.
- At least two (2) years of proven data entry experience, demonstrating consistent accuracy and efficiency.
Data Entry Technician III (Advanced)
- One‑year certificate from a recognized college or technical institute, or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
- Three (3) years of professional data entry experience, preferably within a regulated or high‑volume environment.
Core Skills & Competencies
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of database software (SQL, Access, or similar) and word processing tools (Microsoft Word, Google Docs).
